Lissie Jean Seagraves Volkmar, 92, of Valley, Alabama, passed away peacefully in Lanett, Alabama, Saturday, May 3, 2025.

Ms. Volkmar is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Mary Seagraves; siblings, Gay Franklin, Betty Blanton, Leggie Seagraves, Elvie Saylers, and Edgele Saylers.

Survivors include her children, Rondal McKenzie, Vickie Whitesock, Anthony "Tony" Volkmar, Donita "Dee Dee" Fulmer; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Chattahoochee Hospice and/or WEBT at Emanual Baptist Church, Valley, Alabama.
