Mr. Louis L. Irvin, age 85, of Valley, Alabama passed away on December 9th, 2025, at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. He was born in Valley on September 3rd, 1940, to the late Bill Curtis Irvin and Mazie Smith Irvin.
Louis is survived by his son, Michael Irvin; daughter, Karen Irvin Lewis (Bubba); granddaughter, Ashley Carroll; brothers, Gary Irvin and Danny Irvin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred D. Irvin; parents; and sister, Faye Champion.
Louis was a good Christian man and a faithful member of Friendship Christian Church. He was a proud United States Air Force veteran and a huge Alabama football fan. He was a former employee of West Point Pepperell who always took care of his family. He liked to spend time with his children fishing and enjoyed being a mentor to his daughter.
Funeral services for Louis will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2025, at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pastor Derek Hubbard will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 AM (EST) until the service hour.
