Lurline Chappell Mann

     Mrs. Lurline Chappell Mann, age 92, of Cusseta, Alabama passed away on Saturday, December 25th, 2021 in Auburn, Alabama.

     Mrs. Mann was born on March 14th, 1929 in Waverly, Alabama. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired employee of West Point Pepperell, working for 33 years at Lanier Carter Mill.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Mann and her daughter, Jackie Gooden.

     Mrs. Mann is survived by her granddaughter, Leslie Gooden; grandsons, Russell Gooden (Tammy) and Jason Gooden; great granddaughter, Lauren Gooden; great grandson, Justin Pressley (Faythe); great-great grandson, Jameson Pressley; a host of nieces and nephews and numerous wonderful neighbors and friends.

     Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Osanippa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Larry Vinson will officiate. Mrs. Mann’s family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Mann’s family requests that donations be made to Bethany House, 1171 Gatewood Drive Building 100, Auburn, Alabama, 36830.
