Mary Pearl Jones Kenady, 95, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Valley, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband John A. Kenady and Thomas Kelley Jr. and her daughter Linda Butts.
Mary is survived by her grandsons Chad (Robin) Butts and Randall (Mandy) Butts and great grandchildren Ryleigh Butts, Caitlyn (Andrew) Anthony and Jaci (Jesse)Lee great great grandchildren Asher, Emma, Leigha Anthony and Charlotte and Maggie Lee. She is also survived by her brother Cecil (Syble)Jones and special nephews and nieces.
She was life long member of Langdale Methodist Church. She loved her church and was active in retirement group and other clubs until her health wouldn't allow her to.
Maw Maw was well known for making the best caramel candy, caramel and red velvet cakes. She loved it when her family would gather for Sunday lunches and holidays. She loved to hear music by Alan Jackson.
Maw Maw will be greatly missed by her family.
Mary's funeral service will be held, Friday, May 9, 2025, 2:30 P.M. (EST) at Langdale Methodist Church, Valley, Alabama.
Visitation will be held, at the church, one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Johnson Memorial Gardens.
