Meredith Brooke Thompson

     Ms. Meredith Brooke Thompson, age 31, of Lanett, AL passed away on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

     Ms. Thompson is survived by her two daughters, Makylin and Ella Hammock; her parents, Ralph and Donna Thompson; her sisters, Tiffany and Melissa Rushing; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

     She was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.D. and Edna Thompson and Vester and Ruby Yarbrough.

     Ms. Thompson was born on September 7th, 1986 in LaGrange, GA. She attended Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church for the Deaf and Hearing in Lanett. She was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide and Atlanta Braves fan and an exceptionally loving mother, daughter, and sister.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4th, 2018 at 4:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. The Reverends Raymond Alexander and Ron Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
