Mr. Patrick Van Thompson

Mr. Patrick “Van” Thompson, age 63, of Anderson, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, March 17^th, 2019 at his residence after an extended illness.

Mr. Thompson was born in Langdale, Alabama on March 2^nd, 1956.  He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne R. Thompson.

He was a former member of the Fairfax First Baptist Church. 

Mr. Thompson was a 1974 graduate of Valley High School. 

He is survived by his wife, Paula Hamilton Thompson; mother, Wilma Thompson; stepchildren, Jared Nelson, Cheryl Cyphers; brother, Dave Thompson; 6 step grandchildren; uncle, Randy Willingham.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 22^nd, 2019 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Fairfax Cemetery.  The Reverend Chuck Goodwin officiating.  His family will be receiving friends in the cemetery following the graveside service.

The family respectfully declines the honor of flowers and requests that memorials be made in his memory to the Chattahoochee Humane Society.
