Mrs. Bobbie R. Underwood

Mrs. Bobbie R. Underwood, 93, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, May 24, 2020. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Curtis Underwood, her mother & father, James & Jessie Roberts, her brother, Fred Roberts, sisters, Elsie Estes, Faye Clanton, Jackie Jarvis, & Phyllis Austin. 

She was employed by West Point Pepperell until her retirement.  She was a Charter Member of Friendship Christian Church where she was very active and loved her church family.  She loved spending time with her family and loved her trips to the mountains.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Underwood; sons, Michael Underwood (Mary Susan), and Marcus Underwood (Ann); six grandchildren, Shay Abrams (Mike), Josh Underwood (Sara), Curt Underwood, Hunter Underwood, Rendee Gullatt, & Phillip Gullatt (Kimberly); eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Friendship Christian Church, 1101 California St., Valley, AL 36854.

Due to current gathering concerns, graveside services will be private.
