Mrs. Carol Jean Willingham Obituary

Mrs. Carol Jean Willingham, age 78, of Lanett passed away on Saturday, September 26^th, 2020 at the Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, Georgia.

Mrs. Willingham was born in Newnan, Georgia on May 19^th, 1942 to the late Oscar Lee Mills and Gladys Mae Proctor Mills. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Autry Willingham, and her son, Christopher Willingham; her brothers, Jimmy Mills, Kenneth Mills, Jerry Mills.

She was a member of Three Pines Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama. She loved her church and her church family. She and her family enjoyed camping and fishing when she was younger. She worked for West Point Pepperell in the spinning room in East Newnan.

She is survived by sister, Sandra M. Lewis; brother, Mickey Mills; several nieces and nephews; an uncle, Bobby Procter.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 27^th,2020 at 3:00P.M. EDT at Johnson Memorial Gardens in Valley. The Reverend Wayne Prickett officiating.
