Mrs. Flora Kate Ambrose

Mrs. Flora Kate Ambrose, age 73, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, July 17th, 2019 at the Lakewood Senior Living in Valley, Alabama.

Mrs. Ambrose was born on October 30th, 1945 to the late Albert “Bus” Elliott and Elsie Elliott.  She was also preceded in death by her child, William Edward Ambrose and her sister, Mary Ellen Armstrong.

Mrs. Ambrose was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Ampex Corporation.

She is survived by her son, Joseph “Joey” Edward Ambrose and his wife, Julie Ambrose; grandchildren, Elliott Ambrose, Jeffery Harper and his wife, Ashley Harper, Caroline Ray and her husband, Brent Ray; great-grandchildren, Liam and Ryder Harper; nephew, D’Wayne Armstrong and his wife, LaNay Armstrong and their children, Ashlee, Breanna, and DaKoda Baugh.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19th, 2019 at 11:00A.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment in Fairfax Cemetery.  The Reverend Ron Lewis officiating.  Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00P.M. EDT until 8:00P.M. EDT.

Flowers will be accepted or the family requests that memorials be made in her memory to Chattahoochee Hospice.
