Mrs. Loria Ann Owsley

Mrs. Loria Ann Owsley, age 59, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Loria was born on April 16, 1962, in Opelika, Alabama to Grady Fred Watson and Martha Sorrells Watson.  She was preceded in death by her father and her husband Mickey Owsley.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Loria loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  She was always ready for an adventure and “always on the go”.  She enjoyed visiting the casinos and gambling with her mother.  She enjoyed watching the University of Alabama play football. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021, at 3:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment following in Cusseta Cemetery.  Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00P.M. EDT until 8:00P.M. EDT.

She is survived by her mother, Martha Watson; sons, Michael (Stephanie) Owsley, Adam (Alicia) Owsley; grandchildren, Mylee, Peyton, Grady, Fynlee, Emmett, and Katie Owsley; brother, William (Betty) Harold Watson; sister, Brenda (Brian) Fay Caswell; several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other extended family members.
