Mrs. Rosie Lee Jackson, age 77, of Tallassee, formerly of Lanett, Alabama passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 16th, 2020.
Mrs. Jackson was born on July 17th, 1943 in Clay county, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Easterwood and Nelline Cash Easterwood; her husband, Curtis “Buddy” Jackson; daughter, Teresa Calhoun; son, Joe Cantrell.
In her earlier years and prior to her retirement, she worked as a weaver in the Langdale and Fairview Mills.
Mrs. Jackson was a sweet and loving lady who loved everyone.
She loved to dance, enjoyed watching Family Feud, and was one of Elvis’ biggest fans.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy (Carl) Wright, Betty (William) Watson, Mary (Terry) Freeman; sons, Terry (Sannette) Bailey, William Cantrell; brothers, Ralph Easterwood, Buddy Easterwood; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Due to the social gathering restrictions, a private funeral service will be held.
