Nicholas David "Nick" Patterson

    Mr. Nicholas David “Nick” Patterson, age 29, of Lanett, AL passed away on Monday, November 5th, 2018 in Chambers County, AL. He was born on July 15th, 1989 in Memphis, TN.

     Nick is survived by his fiancée, Maddy Foster; his father, Danny Patterson; his brother, Patrick Patterson; his grandmother, Betty James; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

     He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Patterson; his grandparents, Yancey and Carolyn Patterson, and David James.

     Nick was an accomplished musician and writer. He excelled in academics throughout high school and college. He received a scholarship to the University of Alabama for debate. He was a beloved son and brother and knew Christ as his Savior. Nick had a sweet and tender soul. He was a bright light in the lives of his family and friends. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8th, 2018 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley, AL. The Reverend Brad Thompson will officiate. Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens in Valley. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.
