Patsy Renee Story Hood

  Patsy Renee Hood, of Lafayette, Alabama, passed away, March 28, 2026, in Opelika, Alabama.

  She was born to the late Clarence Teel and the late Mary Gwenell Fuller, on December 16, 1956, in Columbus, Georgia. Later, in life, Patsy became an acclaimed author and published two children's books.

  Patsy is preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Allen Teel.

  She is survived by, sons, Michael Brooks and James Huguley; sisters, Lucita Ann Hood, Diane M. Brannon, Debbie Kay Darnell; brother, Leonard Teel; grandchild, Taylor Williams.
