Pauline Edmondson Clark Obituary

Pauline Edmondson Clark was born July 9, 1931, to the late Hattie Lula Smith Edmondson and John C Thomas Edmondson in Randolph County. She passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2024, surrounded by her sons.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Charlie Clark Jr. and son Jerry Clark. She was the last of 17 children.

She is survived by her sons Jim (Judy) Clark, Jeff Clark, Turtle (Susan) Clark and Robbie (Heather) Clark and her daughter in law, Sally Clark. Her grandchildren Joy Clark, Jodi (Adam) Rodgers, Jim (Lina) Clark Jr., Crystal (Sid) Brantley, Carly (Jared) Carter, Jett (Gracie Hanner) Clark, and Jolee Clark. Her great-grandchildren Grace Hill, Grant Hill, Drew (Emily) Clark, Ava Lujan-Eversley, Zay Lujan-Eversley, Shawn Clark, Emma Clark, Huck Brantley, Beacon Brantley, Atticus Brantley, Millie Brantley, Jazz Worthy, Krisalyn Carter and Jeremiah Carter.

Pauline was a homemaker and never worked outside the home. She had enough to take care of, so it just made sense to stay home. She was the neighborhood mom and ruled from her quaint little place in Huguley. She treated all the neighborhood kids as her own. Raising 5 boys you can imagine she wasn’t intimidated by much.

She was an amazing cook and always had something good to eat when someone stopped by. Many people remember her specialty, divinity candy, that she would make and give out at Christmas. She was dedicated to her family and made sure she never missed a baseball game, a chance to work the concession stand or a motocross race. She also loved NASCAR.

She was a precious mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank Dr. Fagan as well as the entire staff at Chattahoochee Hospice. They were all extremely supportive during her journey home.

     The arrangements are private.

The family declines flowers and asks that you please make donations to Chattahoochee Hospice in memory of Pauline Clark.
