Reba Joy Dunaway

     Mrs. Reba Joy Dunaway, age 67, of Huguley, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 21st, 2021 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. She was born on January 9th, 1954 in Clay County, Alabama to the late Millard Barney Wilkerson and Ima Ruth Wilkerson.

     Mrs. Dunaway is survived by her husband of 52 years, Roger Dale Dunaway; daughter, Tammy (Michael) Hall of Huguley; son, Shane (Carla) Dunaway of Valley, Alabama; granddaughters, Erica (Justin) Sinclair, Kacie (Jonathan) Lane, Hali Dunaway, and Hanna (David) Tielking; grandsons, Hayden Morgan, Collin Dunaway, Chase Dunaway, and Jake Hall; great grandchildren, Hailey Tielking, Keeghan Lane, Bristol Lane, Kamry Elder, Colton Williams, Camden Morgan, Carley Williams, and Titus Sinclair; a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Cameron Dale Dunaway; brother, Millard Jackson Wilkerson; sisters, Lynda Ruth Wilkerson Clack and Ann Paulette Wilkerson Abercrombie.

     Mrs. Dunaway was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and her church family. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021 at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM (EST) at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Wadley, Alabama. The Reverends Zenus Windsor and Stephen Grubbs will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
