Robin Engelman Helton

     Ms. Robin Engelman Helton, age 54, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Monday, January 16th, 2023 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.

     Robin is survived by her former spouse, Kevin Helton; brother, Scott Engelman (Michelle); brothers-in-law, Don Helton and Brian Helton; nieces and nephews, Blake Engelman, Samantha Engelman, Christin Dunn (Steven), Skylar Carswell (Joseph), Taylor Smith, Jordan Helton, Jacob Helton, Avin Helton, and Lara Helton; great nieces and nephews, Gracen, Kadyn, Cole, Breelyn, Reed, and Renden.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Doris and Roger Engelman; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Belva and Donald Helton, Sr.; brother-in-law, Barry Helton.

     Robin was born on April 22nd, 1968 in Queens, NY. She was a very loving, caring, and devoted wife, sister, and daughter. She was her mother-in-law’s primary caregiver prior to her passing. She enjoyed working in the banking industry and had many good friends who loved her, especially her best friend, Linda Sanders. She loved watching Georgia football with the Helton boys. She was a very special person who touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens. Pastor Stephen McClain will officiate. Robin’s family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
