Ronald L. Johnson, 78, died Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the Roanoke Rehabilitation Center. He and his twin brother, Donald, were born on February 13, 1943, in Atlanta, Georgia, sons to the late Paul and Rebecca Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene, his daughter, Leah, brothers, Charles, Tony, Noble and sisters Paulette, Jewel, and Jeanette. He was also preceded in death by his dog, Leo, his loyal companion for 14 years.
He is survived by his twin brother Donald (Bernice), his daughter, Deborah (Donnie) Harrison, his son; Marty (Vicki) Johnson; grandsons Brian (Laura) Smith, Tony Ronald (Tina) Smith, Larry (Abigail) Johnson, Marty (Jada) Johnson, Scott (Ashley) Johnson, Tony Mike Johnson, and Kevin Wiley; several great-grandchildren.
Ronald was a loving husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was also known for being a very generous man and would give anyone anything he had.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 11:00A.M. EDT at State Line Christian Church Cemetery where he will be buried beside his wife and daughter.
No visitation is planned at this time.
