Roy Reaves

     Mr. Roy Reaves, age 81, of Beulah, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 at his residence. He was born on February 13th, 1939 in Valley, Alabama.

     Mr. Reaves is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Reaves; his children, Tabatha (Jeff) Stanford, Daniel (Amy) Reaves, and Stephen (Christi) Reaves; his grandchildren, Sidney, Madelyn, Matthew, Trevor, and Myles; his sister, Laura Perry.

     He was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary Reaves and his six brothers.

     Mr. Reaves was a member of The Bridge Church. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He always attended his children’s sporting events and enjoyed watching Auburn University sports. He also enjoyed working in his garden. He loved the Beulah community and was very proud of his grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 14th, 2021 at 3:00 PM (EST) at the graveside in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pastor Bill Bryan will officiate. The family will receive friends in the cemetery following the service.

     Due to the social gathering restrictions, attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
