Ruby Lee Hull, 96, of Valley, AL, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, at East Alabama Medical Center surrounded by family and loved ones.
Ruby lived a full and remarkable life as a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She touched the hearts of everyone she met through her gentle sense of humor, her devotion to her faith, and her love and kindness toward anyone she met. Ruby will be greatly missed by the countless hearts that she touched in her 96 years of life, leaving behind an incredible legacy of love, laughter, and a shining example of a true matriarch.
Ruby was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, William (Bill) Hull, her parents Jessie and Mattie Adamson, her brothers, Jessie Adamson and Fletcher Folk, her sisters Janelle Davis and Peggy Caldwell, and her beloved daughter, Billie Lea Strickland.
Ruby is lovingly remembered by her daughters Deborah Workman (Kim Workman), Donna Keith (the late John Keith), and Cheryl Cole (Kevin Cole), as well as her grandchildren David Peacock, Deanna Jackson, Jamie Jamison, Lanier Keith, Jeremy Cole, Joshua Cole, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Community Church on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. EST, with the family receiving friends from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to service.
