Selma Jean Siggers Obituary

Mrs. Selma Jean Siggers, affectionately known as Mrs. Siggers, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2023, in Columbus, Georgia. Born on February 2, 1952, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Frank and Selma Konrady, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many.

Mrs. Siggers is survived by her devoted husband, David L. Siggers; her son, Chad Pannell (Lisa); her daughter, Tammy Pannell (Scott Cooper); her step-son, Christopher Siggers (Tonya); her cherished grandchildren, Austin Pannell, Tanner Pannell (Emily), Ryan Ford, Brittany Shirley, Savannah Siggers, Aspen Siggers, Leah Bailey, and Madisyn Ford; her adored great-grandchildren, Camdyn Pannell-Holley, Baylor Pannell, Tate Longshore, and Cole Bailey; and her half-brothers, Sam Douglas, Robbie Nason, and Bruce Nason.

A proud member of The Upper Room Church in Valley, Mrs. Siggers was a woman of strong faith who found solace and joy in her spiritual life. Her unwavering belief in God's love and grace was a source of inspiration and comfort to those around her.

Mrs. Siggers was known for her great sense of humor and her ability to make others laugh. She loved to cut up and joke around, bringing smiles to the faces of her family and friends. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence could light up a room.

An excellent cook, Mrs. Siggers was famous for her delicious desserts and Sunday dinners. She took great pride in her culinary skills and enjoyed sharing her love of food with her loved ones.

Family was the cornerstone of Mrs. Siggers' life, and she loved them deeply. Her grandchildren were her highest priority, and she took immense joy in watching them grow and thrive. She was a constant source of support and encouragement, always there to lend a listening ear or offer a word of advice.

Mrs. Siggers enjoyed going shopping, whether it was for clothes, gifts, or groceries. She had an eye for style and loved finding the perfect item for herself or someone she cared about.

A lover of nature, Mrs. Siggers enjoyed going for rides to admire all of God's beautiful creations. She found peace and contentment in the simple act of observing the world around her, marveling at the beauty of a sunset, the majesty of a towering tree, or the delicate grace of a butterfly. Her appreciation for the natural world was a testament to her gentle spirit and her belief in the interconnectedness of all living things.

Loving, kind, and gentle are the words that best describe Mrs. Siggers. She was a woman who touched the lives of many with her warmth, compassion, and generosity. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, a testament to the enduring power of love and the indelible mark she left on this world.

As we say goodbye to Mrs. Selma Jean Siggers, let us remember the love, laughter, and joy she brought to our lives. May her memory be a blessing, and may her spirit continue to inspire us to live with kindness, compassion, and grace.
