Seth "Marzy" Dylan Holmes

     As is a tale, so is a life. Not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters.

     On Thursday, November 28th at 1:35pm, our dreamer, Seth “Marzy” Dylan Holmes left to start his new chapter. Recently turned 33, Seth still had a lot of life and love to give, even though he had already lived so much life at such a young age. He was a free spirit who marched to the beat of his own drums…literally.

     Seth is survived by his parents, Dwayne and Lori Holmes; his two dog children, Satchel and Echo; brother Johnathan (Jess) Holmes; sister, Cori Holmes-Cook (Hunter); three nephews, Cayden and Rylan Cook and Parker Gentry; aunts Lisa Cotney, Samantha (Billy) Weekes and Dawn Holmes; uncles Dale (Paula) Holmes, Darren (Jeanie) Holmes and Lane Griffin; several cousins, Michael (Erin) Cotney, Jacob (Erin) Cotney, Melissa (Josh) Cotney, Jarrod Holmes, Brittany (Nikki) Christopher, Darian Holmes, Elora (Jessie) Holmes, Pamala Griffin, Jennifer Griffin and Jay Griffin; and many tiny tot cousins - Liam, Ella Kate, Ada, Sunnie, Abigail, Justice and Carris. And last but not least, Marzy is survived by his three heterosexual life mates - Hudson “Huds N Suds” Thompson, Steven “Drie” Jarvis and Dudley “DT” Langford.

     He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.W. and Sallie “Carol” Lane Griffin, Billie and Jim Weekes and Jimmy Holmes.

     Funeral services for Seth will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, at 2:30 PM (EST) at the graveside in Johnson Memorial Gardens in Valley, Alabama. Seth’s family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.

     In lieu of flowers, Seth's family would like donations to be made in his memory to his band, "BadaBings" (via CashApp $11jarviss) and their dream.
