Sharon Yvonne Wesson

  Sharon Yvonne Wesson, 78, of Valley, Alabama, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

  She was born in Columbus, Georgia, on June 2, 1947, to the late Wilbur and Myrtle Johnson Sharon was a member of West End Baptist Church.

  She was also a volunteer with Chattahoochee Hospice as well as an active participate in the Valley Senior Olympics. In addition, she loved playing cards with her friends as well as spending time outdoors, fishing. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

  Sharon was preceded in death by, her parents, as well as, her son, Jimmie Dewayne Stokley, brothers, Wayne Johnson, Michael Daughtry, and Steve Brogden. Plus, her special friend, Susie Fincher.

  Survivors include, daughters, Teressa Stokley Manuel, Michelle Stokley Eastridge (Carey Wayne), and Tonia Stokley Beck (Don), grandchildren, Justin Whitehead (Lindsey), Kaley Perry (Hunter), Kelsey Perry (Wade), and Kyle Walker, sister, Rose Marie Rogers (Randy), plus, nine great grandchildren.

  A funeral service for Sharon will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2:30 P.M. (EST) from the chapel of Johnson Brown – Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama.

  Interment to follow, immediately after the chapel service, at Fairview Cemetery, Valley, Alabama.

  Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. (EST) until 8:00 P.M. (EST).
