Sherry Blanton Ray

     Mrs. Sherry Blanton Ray, age 60, of Cusseta, Alabama passed away on Monday, June 8th, 2020 at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. She was born on September 28th, 1959 in Langdale, Alabama to the late Blumer and Nancy Blanton.

     Mrs. Ray is survived by her sister, Mary (Vance) Kilgore; her brother, Blumer “Chris” (Chandra Watson) Blanton; her daughter, April Carmack; her grandson, Seth Carmack; her nephews, Dylan and Bryar Kilgore, and Jacob, Jared, Josh, and Jackson Blanton; niece, Logan Blanton.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert “Bobby” Ray; her brother, Gary Blanton.

     Mrs. Ray was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a former U. S. Marine. While serving she was stationed in Richmond, Virginia. When she returned home she worked as a truck driver for a number of years. She loved her grandson.

     Services will be held at a later date.
