Teressa Ann Fewell

     Teressa Ann Fewell, 76, of Opelika, AL passed away on Friday October 10, 2025, at East Alabama Medical Center. Teressa was born in Opelika, AL to the late Andrew and Bessie Howard. She is preceded in death by her husband Luther Fewell, her brothers Kenneth Howard, Louis Howard, Phillip Howard, and brother-in-law Harvey Miller.

     Teressa was a faithful member of Ridge Road Baptist Church. She worked tirelessly for West Point Stevens for 39 years to provide for her family.

     Teressa is survived by her children, daughter, Angela (Darrell) Shelton of Opelika, AL, sons, Wade (Rechea) Jones of Opelika, AL, Jay Jay (Rachel) Jones, daughter, Kimberly Baker, daughter Cynthia (Jeff) Noland of Gordo, AL; sisters, Shirley (JW) Miller, Linda Miller; grandchildren, Kambri (Daniel) , Joshua (Dezi), Kyle, Kelsey, Kaleigh, Jordan, Hayley, Brayden, Gyma, Skylair, Haley, Emmy Shae’, Dillion; and 16 great grandchildren.

     Her love for her Savior Jesus Christ radiated by the life she lived. Everyone that came in contact with her was asked if they knew Jesus. She passed into glory with a smile on her face. She was a true warrior for Jesus. She was always the father’s business. She loved her family and friends.

     Funeral services for Teressa will be held on Monday, October 13th, 2025, at 2:30 PM (EDT) at Ridge Road Baptist Church, 5474 Lee Road 390, Opelika, AL. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pastor Stephen McClain will officiate. Teressa’s family will receive friends Sunday evening, October 12th, 2025, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
