Terri Christian Obituary

Terri Christian, age 66, of Valley, Alabama passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024, in Opelika, Alabama. Born on December 12, 1957, in Long Island, New York, Terri's life was a testament to the power of warmth and friendliness that she extended to everyone she met.

Terri's journey began as the cherished daughter of Ralph and Jean Culver. Although she was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Butch Culver, her sister Michelle Caldwell, and an infant sister, her legacy is carried forward through her loving family.

Terri's heart found its match in her devoted husband, James C. Christian, with whom she built a life full of joy and shared purpose. A proud and nurturing mother, Terri's love blossomed through her children, Brianna Jones (Kaleb), William James Christian, and Abbe Francis Christian. She instilled in them the values of compassion and kindness that she held so dear. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, as she showered Lily Christian, Kemper Christian, Karter Jones, Kalayshia Jones, and Kollyns Jones with unconditional love and support. Terri's family circle extended to her beloved uncles, Winston Brooks (Betty) and Clinton Culver, who will remember her for the light she brought into their lives and the bonds of family she fortified with her presence.

Throughout her life, Terri was a source of strength and unwavering support to her family and friends. The way she lived her life reflected her commitment to her Christian faith and the values it espoused. Terri's caring nature was evident in her dedication to her home, her family, and her community.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Terri found solace and joy in taking care of her horses. These majestic creatures were not just her hobby but her companions, and she found great peace in the quiet moments spent with them.

Terri's life was a journey of love, from the shores of Long Island to the warmth of Alabama, and in every step, she left imprints of kindness that will never fade. As we remember Terri, let us honor her by embodying the compassion and friendship that she exemplified throughout her remarkable life.
