Terry Waldrop, a cherished soul known for his loving nature, kindness, and handy skills, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Tallassee, AL, at the age of 75. Born on January 6, 1950, in Valley, AL, Terry was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew him.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirlene Monroe Waldrop, his father, James W. Waldrop, and his mother, Dorothy Monk Waldrop. His memory will be treasured and kept alive by his brother, Tim Waldrop; brother-in-law, Gene Monroe; sister-in-law, Eva Monroe; as well as Lanell Moore and Gary (Lynn) Monroe. His numerous nieces and nephews, to whom he was a cherished uncle, will also hold his spirit in their hearts.

An avid Alabama football fan, Terry's enthusiasm for the game was infectious. He could often be found cheering on his favorite team, surrounded by friends and family, who were drawn to his warmth and jovial spirit. Terry's love for sports extended beyond the football field; he was also an avid fisherman and a skilled golfer. His days spent on the water or the golf course were filled with joy, laughter, and the camaraderie of close friends.

Terry's selflessness shone brightly through his role as a caregiver. He provided unwavering support and comfort to those in need, always placing the well-being of others above his own. His generous nature and ability to connect with people left a lasting impact on his community.
