Timothy “Rex” Grizzle, age, 68, gained his Heavenly wings Tuesday, January 14th, 2025. Rex was born September 28th, 1956, in Valley, AL.
He leaves behind his wife and best friend of almost 46 years, Donna Lynn Grizzle; his sons, Heath Evans and Corey Grizzle (Tisha); his three grandsons, Rex, Dean, and Curtis Grizzle; one granddaughter, Kelsey Lynn Evans (Nick) and soon to be great grandson; three sisters and one brother, Mary, Teresa, Sharon and Frank, Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Mike Nickolson (Rita) and Jimmy Nickolson (Denise); cherished aunt and uncle, Ramona and Alton Thornton; and his fur baby, Roscoe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Grizzle and Joyce H. Hawkins; mother-in-law, Joan Waldrop Goodwin; and father-in-law, Jimmy Nickolson, Sr.
Rex entered industrial construction work at age 20 and retired in 2020 from many years helping to build Midsouth Mechanical, Inc. He loved all sports, especially Bama, his Harley, and time at Lake Martin. All of which he shared with his dearest friends.
At Rex’s request there will be no visitation or service.
