Tony Lavan Freeman Obituary

     Mr. Tony Lavan Freeman, age 62, of Valley, Alabama passed away surrounded by his children on Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 in Opelika, Alabama. He was born on October 21st, 1958 in Alexander City, Alabama.

     Tony is survived by his children, Jennifer (Tim) Johns, Natasha (Matthew) Stonbraker, and Joshua (Kassi) Freeman; grandchildren, Paige, Hope, Collin, Nevaeh, Eli, Avalyn, Maggie, and Collier; parents, Billy and Judy Freeman; sister, Ramona Cole; brother, Tim Freeman.

     He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Clarice and Cecil Barentine.

     Tony Freeman loved his family dearly. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching Alabama football. You could almost always find him dressed head to toe in Bama gear. Tony was also a talented guitar player during his younger days. He knew how to have a good time and could always make everyone in the room laugh. He was a jokester with his kids and grandkids. If you knew Tony, then you will forever remember his laugh and picture his smile on his face.
