It is with a deep sense of loss and affection that we mark the passing of Vickie Ann Blanks, a cherished jewel of Valley, Alabama. Born on July 30, 1961, in the very place she would call home throughout her life, Vickie remained true to her roots till she passed away peacefully at her residence on July 20, 2024.
Vickie's love for her family knew no bounds. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Richardson; her two daughters, Crystal Blanks and Jennifer Caren Blanks; and her precious grandchildren Natalie Nicole Colee, Jacob Antonio Williams, Alex Carlos Williams, and Maria Jade Williams. While she was guided to heaven's gates by her late parents, A.J. and Margaret Ann Blanks, and her brother Andy Blanks, her legacy will continue to live on through her family.
Vickie's heart was ever with her family, but she also dedicated her hands to service within the Baptist faith, where she embraced her love for the Lord with passion. Renowned for her kind heart, Vickie carried a spirit of generosity, often extending her help to those in need. The kitchen was her sanctuary, where delicious meals were crafted with love, nourishing those around her body and soul.
Remembered as loving, kind, and selfless, Vickie Ann Blanks was truly a beacon of light in the Valley community. Her unwavering dedication to her faith, family, and friends will forever be etched in the hearts of those fortunate to have known her. Vickie leaves behind a tapestry of memories and a lesson in love that will continue to inspire generations to come.
