William Brandon Wright Obituary

     William Brandon Wright, 41 of Alabama and Clifton Forge, Virginia passed away suddenly on Monday, April 27, 2020. Brandon made a huge difference in the lives of many children. As a coach, baseball was his passion and he instilled this love in so many kids he was fortunate enough to coach. His wife and children were his world and he cherished his best friends. His mama Elaine, they shared many moments together. While he was transitioning between Alabama and Virginia, he would often stay with his mom sharing memories of their lives together. He could always count on his mama for anything. Brandon was a family man with good morals and values. He often thanked Coach Clifford Story for making a huge impact in his life. Brandon was a huge Florida State fan.

     He is preceded in death by his father, William Michael “Mike” Wright; his grandparents, William Lee and Betty Jean Wright and Franklin Lee Black, Sr., and Mary Gwen Potts; uncle, Charles Wright and Franklin Lee Black, Jr., his father-in-law, Bobby Hanna.

     Those left to tell the story of his memory are his loving wife, Penny Hanna Wright; his loving mother, Elaine Black Marshall; his mother-in-law, Vickie Hanna; children, Brandon Tyler Wright, Hanna Danyale Huerta (Jacob), and Kyndal Alli Wright; sister, Savannah Marshall, uncles Jim Ed Dodgen, Jack Wright (Cathy); aunts, Alisha Gwen Patterson, Annie (Renee) Pike; brother-in-law, Paul Martin (Bobbi Jo); niece, Morgan Martin; great nephew, Braxton Martin Smith numerous other family and friends that he as impacted over his life.

     A Celebration of Life Service honoring Brandon's life will be held on Saturday, June 20th, 2020 at 5:00P.M. EDT at Johnson Memorial Gardens, 3700 20th Avenue, Valley, Alabama.

     In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Shriners Burn Center in Atlanta, GA, West Point Georgia Parks and Recreation, the Athletic Departments of Lanett, Valley, or Springwood Schools, the Valley Sportsplex, or to sponsor an athlete. “Every child deserves a chance to play ball and follow their dream.” – William Brandon Wright
