Ron proudly served his country in the United States Army, a testament to his dedication and patriotism. Following his military service, he pursued further education at Opelika Tech, where he earned certificates in both computer science and electronics. His expertise led him to a fulfilling career with Micro Services, where as a computer technician, he played a pivotal role in designing, building, and implementing networks for textile mills. His work not only showcased his technical skills but also his ability to connect with people, a trait that made him a beloved figure in his professional community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ron was a man of diverse interests and hobbies. Ron's adventurous spirit soared as he indulged in remote-controlled plane flying, a hobby that connected him with fellow enthusiasts as a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). The skies were not his only playground, as he also explored the depths of the ocean through scuba diving and experienced the thrill of bungee jumping, always seeking new heights and depths.
Family was the cornerstone of Ron's life. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Roberts Wagner, and his devoted children, Becki Allen and her husband Randy, Courtnie Hutchinson and her husband Mario, and stepdaughter Amanda Revelle and her husband Ken. His sisters, Sherry Holland and Theda Welch, will also hold his memory dear. Ron's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Cody Allen, David Yates, Jr., April N.
