William “Will” Earl Meeks, 67, of Valley, Alabama, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Valley, Alabama.
Will was born on March 3, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Arthur Dorsey Meeks and Margaret Stoneburner Meeks.
He was a faithful husband, loving Poppa, and Big Poppa to many. Will dedicated his life to God by helping others in Atlanta, Belize, Honduras, and Valley. He loved and supported the Hispanic community in Valley through the Chambers County School District and through the Circle of Care.
Will is survived by, wife, Lucia Emery Meeks; children, Trillium, Ridley and partner, Autum, Molly and husband, Roberto, Violet and wife, Dr. Jessie, Isaac and husband, Matt, Sam and wife, Kallie, and bonus daughter Rosa “Nena” Flores; grandchildren, Cesare, Emilio, and Loren; brother, Gregory Meeks.
A memorial service will be held, Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Lanett United Methodist Church, 10:00 A.M. Jonathan Herston officiating. Fellowship will be held after the service.
The family has requested, those in attendance, to please wear bright colored clothing.
