Willie (Claxton) Miles

    Willie “Claxton” Miles, age 84, passed away, March 1, 2026, in Lafayette, Alabama.  Born, in Randolph County, March 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Lucy Harvell Miles and Frank Miles. 

    Claxton is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra P. Miles.

    Survivors include, Kerry G. Miles (Lauren), Scott Miles, sister, Opal Shepard.

    Graveside service for Claxton will be held, at 2:30 P.M. (EST), Friday, March 6, 2026, at Johnson Memorial Gardens. Interment to follow immediately after the service.

    Visitation will be held at, Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home, in Valley, one hour prior to service time.
