Mr. Lynwood John Edward "Eddie" Starnes, age 70, of Lanett, passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 29, 2016.

He was born on June 27, 1945 to the late Charles and Ethel Jones Starnes in West Point, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda J. Starnes; children, Robin Kimmrey, Buddy Starnes, Tracy Guthrie, Chris Carmach; siblings, Betty White, Mary Ann Shockley; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

The family will be conducting a private service at a later date.

Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley is directing.
