It is always sad to hear of a loved ones passing and it make it even more difficult when it's part of one's family. Time and distance in this life takes a toll when we don't see one another, sometimes for years at a stretch, but nonetheless, our love never escapes our thoughts, and with that being said, I remember as a child, seeing Uncle Marshall and Aunt Lucile at family gatherings, during sickness and sadly, saying goodbye at funerals. All in all, our memories sustain the times, both good and bad, which weave the fabric of our lives and reside in the chambers of our hearts. Proud am I, that my blood flows within this family, and my sadness with my cousins as they say goodbye to their Mother.

I am reminded of the lines from Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice", that seem most appropriate; "the quality of mercy is not strain'd. It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven upon the place beneath, for it is twice blessed. It blesseth those that give, and those that take". We have been truly blessed with wonderful families and we both give and take love as we are taught. We revel in the minute and hour and share our victories and defeats as a family, until it's time to give back which were so blessed.

Rest well Aunt Lucile.

Linda, Elaine, Marcia, Kathy and Tyrone,
I am so very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I remember all the fun days on 45th and 44th street in Langdale at your house, my house, at the station, in the pasture and at Langdale School/pool. I think my mom still has a dress your mother made for me when I was a little girl. My heart aches for your loss. Please know that I will be praying for all of you and that God will hold you in the Comfort of His Love and His hand. He will supply All of your needs during this time. Be ready to meet her when this Life is over. God Bless.
