Peggy, you were such a joy to be around each day at HCCMS. You always made me laugh. I remember how generous and helpful you were. I remember your daughter's wedding and all the delicious food you made. I feel blessed for having known you. May the cherished memories your friends and family have of you help comfort them. I think the angels in heaven will gain weight eating all of your good cooking.

Mr. Tom and family, we never met Miss Peggy on earth, but we look forward to knowing her in Heaven. Mr. Tom, you made me feel like she was one of my friends as you lovingly shared stories about your family. Our prayer is for Jesus to bring the comfort that only He can. We are thankful for your many happy memories and rejoice in the blessed assurance of Heaven and eternity with Jesus and our loved ones. Gita & Kenneth Spratlin

Tom, Marshall, Lacy and Dot,

I'm sorry for the loss and joyful of the homecoming for Peggy. I am honored to have met Mrs. Peggy and of course because she and Anne were so close, I felt as though she was family. My heart goes out to y'all, but knowing your faith, I'm comforted to know that the Lord will sustain us all as we move forward.

My heartfelt condolences and best regards,

Brad

Tom, Marshall and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Peggy's leaving your family, but am overjoyed she is going to be with Jesus. I became aware of the Minton family when I became a Chadwick. Mr. Charles and Miss Colene thought the world of you and Peggy. It was a standard story at Christmas about Peggy making them pimento cheese leaving it in the mailbox and the mail man thought it was for him from the Chadwick's-many laughs we had over that and YES Peggy made them some more.
I became friends with your family, working for Randy Jones when you brought Marshall to us. His smile was overpowering and your family always shared him with our office.
Peggy's smile was contagious and even when the seas of life were rough, she knew who the Captain was that guided the ship.
She will be missed sorely by ANYONE who ever came in contact with her. I know How your hearts ache and the loneliness you are and will be feeling. Do know that the glorious end to this is that we will see her in Heaven. My heart and prayers are with you all as you face this lost.
May her Celebration on Saturday be the party she would have hosted, but that God is hosting. Where He goes and prepares a place for us, there He may be also...well Peggy prepared a meal for her friends and her presence will be felt...what a Peggy story!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

I am not sure I can put into words what Peggy meant to me. My heart has been flooded over this last week with sweet memories....catering, youth trips, sitting on the beach. Whenever Peggy was around fun was going to take place. She so loved her family and her precious grandchildren. My heart is broken and I will miss her so much but I will see her in the other side. I am thankful that today she is pain free and safe at home with Jesus. Tom and Marshall and Lacy....you know we love you all so much. We just have to find a new normal in a life without Peggy . So thankful for memories and that she will always be in our hearts until we see her again.

I have always been in awe of Peggy. She was an amazing mom raising her children. She was dedicated to her school children. As she went through life, she always had a smile on that face and a caring and energetic demeanor. She will be missed by all who knew her!

We are so sorry to hear of Ms. Minton's death. During this sad time, please take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father has promised a wonderful future by means of his son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16). The Bible describes the time when we will be reunited with our dear loved ones under perfect living conditions (John 5:28,29 and Isaiah 65:20-25). In the days to come, may your fond memories and these divine promises help to sustain your family. Take care

When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. Peggy was a great fun loving person. I had the joy and pleasure of working with her at Central Elementary. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel o watch over you now. We extend our most sincere condolences to the family.
