I was so saddened to hear of Susan's passing. Her grandmother raised my grandmother after her own mother's untimely death. She had a wonderful zest for life and was a wonderful help to me in constructing the Batson family history. She will surely be missed.

Mary and I offer our sympathy to Alfred, John and our West Point kin folks. Unfortunately, neither of us will be able to attend the funeral. She is out of the country and I have unavoidable commitments. What a interesting and wonderful lady was she - my favorite aunt! Mary & Zach Everitt
