Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. We will always cherish the memories we have of her. Her stories were so interesting and visiting with her was such fun. She knew how to elevate the mood and keep the conversation lively.

Cousin Ruth, a lady of many names, was a wonderful woman, wife, mother, daughter, cousin and so many more names. A Spence, a Wingate, a Downs, so many names. But one name she would never earn in her life is uncaring. This woman brought her love to every one she met and to everything she did. My father has always spoken fondly of her and shared with me the impact she had on him as they were growing up. The, sadly, few times I got to be with her I would always regret having to part. Now, when she is no more on this earth, I can only hope and pray that I'm faithful enough to join her when my time comes. Prayers for the family who all know how blessed they've been to be around this woman. Prayers also for many lives she has touched so positively over the years. God Bless you and keep you, Cousin Ruth. Love to all, Tup Spence.
