Mrs. Linda Faye Hurst, 72 of Lanett, AL passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM EST from Calvary Family Worship Center in Valley with Rev. Gary Cotney officiating.  Burial will follow in Marseilles Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley. 

Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Hurst,  children, Sherman Mote, Jr. of Notasulga, AL, Tina Lynn Eells of Lanett, and James Mote of Columbiana, AL; three sisters, Mollie Parker, Jennie Pope, & Joyce Blackmon; brother, Leland Calhoun; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, William Calhoun & Ruby Yates Calhoun and her daughter, Christina Sanders.

Mrs. Hurst liked to work in her flower garden and was a member of Calvary Family Worship Center.
